DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!!!----Amazing!!

well im back from Dominican republic and i went to a place called Puerto Plata which is the thirs biggest city in dominican.

I jumped off a 50 ft cliff into this blu spring which is bottomless!! and i have a video so i can prove it!

i went horseback riding for an hour and i got to visit where they filmed a part of jurassic park! pretty cool

i also visited the typical school and i visited the underpriviledged children that live there.

then i went tot eh typical home in dominical and they SO many fruits and i learned that if you live out in the country and if u didnt have any food left you were allowed to go to your neighbours house and just pick theor fruit to eat

i visited many beaches like Playa grande And other Playas and playa means Beach by the way.

ummm.......Ohh i also went snorkling and i saw many fish and star fish and then we visited a beach with WIHITE sand but it was about 2 and a half hours away from our resort.

i did A LOT there......it was amazing!

i just came back from selling and giving free samples of fair trade chocolate!

we did really well...we sold all of our chocolate.

Watching a show!

Right now..im watching a show called...."the Secret Millionare" it a really good show about how these multi-million rich people go and experience like in a poor place and they try and meet people who are in need of help...and at the end of the week they give thousands of dollars to the people they meet since they need the money.

im excited to be in a hot country..i like the cold but i like feeling warm and i like being on the beach.

Im going to come back on Christmas day.

And going shopping on boxing day....and that will be really busy!

Fun Fun Fun...

This morning was really fun. Marco was really fun! Everything was fun!

I loved doing improv and miming(i think thats how you spell it).

I did some of those things at my drama summer camp but its always good to do them again. I had a great day!

when i woke up...it was like...one of the most beautiful sites i've ever seen!

Voleyball!

YESS!!!! we came in second for volleyball yesterday!we all played really well! And dianne and jo did great! and i did too! hehe.

The games were pretty intense! But we did awesome and we did some good spikes!

YAY OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!

IM REALLY HAPPY THAT OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!

BUT MCCAIN DIDN"T DO THAT BAD!

I woke up at 6:30 am just to ask my dad who won and when he told me that Obama won...i screamed! i was soo happy!

And many people in the U.S. were happy becuase they need change!

Today was really boring...But i did go to the new JACK ASSTORS!!!! its amazing!!! and it has over 100 tv's!..pretty cool and the waitors are really nice..and the lights are made out of coca-cola glass bottles..!! and the FOOD IS AMAZING..like amazing amazing..

and 8000 people were there! And the host was the host of Canadaian Idol..i forgot his name though. and Sarah Mclachlan was there and Mia farrow, a judge from cadian idol and also the WINNER of canadian idol i forgot his name though! Sorry i keeep forgetting names!

But those were people were there.

There was also a boy named Michelle and he told us what happend to him when he was 5 years old and it was really sad.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY......MARK AND CRAIG KEILBURGER spoke! They are planning that ME TO WE will build twice as more schools as last year! And they told us their experiences with me to we and how it all started!

I really wish i could go there again.

But the only ting i didnt like was that i had to wake up early!

Other than that...IT was TERRIFIC!

OCTOBER!

Today is the first day of October. And i know that it is going to get much colder! The leaves are changing and the days are shorter! I miss summer a lot! But Halloween is almost here! But im still not sure on what i am going to be for that! Any ideas? comment...help me figure out what i should be!!!!!!!

Oh yeah! Made it through the first cut of volleyball! and im really happy! Today we had practise and on Monday we are actually gonna find our who makes it to the team! Really nervous about that! But some other people in our class made the first cut too...like julia, josephine, dianne and i think thats all..Oh and me! haha...

Tomorrow there is practise again and i hope i do well!

Congrats to the boys soccer team! They were first for both tournaments! Thats awesome! they represented our school so well! They must have played amazing.

And i hope they win tomorrow again but if they don't thats still okay! because they have won twice already........

Well im in the lab right now with my afternoon class! Its pretty fun. But i'm not really doing anything important. And today in the morning i handed in my cookie just in time!

And i just finished trying out for volley ball and Mr. Polese is going to cut people out and he is putting up the list tomorrow!

Today i presented my Politico and my Travel Card! I think i did pretty well! Many things to say about Japan! Very interesting place to go. And Brenda and Alexis both went to Cuba. I've been there too and its a really cool place to go!

And other people also presented there Politicos! pretty Interesting stuff!

Great! Tomorrow i am also missing Instrumental and i know that we are going to actually get to play our instruments! Oh Well! Oh and tomorrow i hope that Tony will be able to monitor the little grade ones. They are a pretty big handful!

Oh the thing that was awesome today is that we completed the Terry Fox Chain without breaking it! That was really good. But people picked all my words so i had to think of something different. But atleast i din't break the chain!

Tomorrow is our first school mass and i won't be there! I'm really sad about that. I am going to the soccer tournament! And i really hope that we will do a good job and hopefully win. Because i know that the boys came in first, so CONGRATS to them!

It will be tough but i know that our team is pretty good and we want to make Mr. Li happy! Hehe!

I guess Ms. Zupan wasn't there yesterday! But i hope she's here on Monday! Anyways we also had the Earth Rangers presentation in the gym! They showed us a python and the guy told us an interesting story and how he saved a bird that was really hungry. I thought that they were going to show us more animals since they usually do but i guess thats alright. Yesterday we also did the Terry Fox walk. It was pretty tiring climbing up that HUGE hill. ........................HMMMMM.....what else did we do? Umm the supply was OKAY. And i think i've covered the day!

Aww! Today Ms. Zupan was away! That SUCKED!!! But i "guess" the supply teacher was OKAY....but Ms. Zupan's back tomorrow!
And i'm happy that tomorrow if FINALLY Friday!

Terry Fox!

MANNN!!! i have to remeber to bring in my toonie for tomorrow for the Terry Fox run!!! i Always forget i better write a note on my wall or something!
Oh! and i think i have my 4 words that represent Terry. But i shouldn't give them away!

Magic MUD!!!!

Well today i made magic mud and it was very cool! It felt amazing. I've made it before but i forgot how good it felt because i haven't made it in a long time! And just a few seconds ago my mom was asking me what i was doing and i said.."I'm on my blog!" and she hardly knew what a blog was( she isn't big on the whole "COMPUTER" thing) it was funny. And she hardly ever uses the computer which is a good thing i guess. ANYWAYS, back to what i was saying about the magic mud. Well... i think im actually done commenting on the whole mud thing. The point is that the mud was an awesome experiment!

Man! I've been sick ever since Friday night! And i still am! ugghhhh! i hate this........ooopsss and i think Mr. Li is mad at me because i didn't go to soccer practice and you know why because i am SICKO! Anyways i hope i'll be better by tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Today i got picked to be in Me to We! I am so happy! Me and my 2 other best friends also got picked.I am really excited to help fundraise and do many other things to help. I AM THE SO EXCITED IM OVER EXCITED!

On September 11 2001, It happened. The Twin Towers came down in New York City.I was about 5 years old when that happend. It all started at about 8:46 am until 10:28 am.Which was about 2 hours.
I don't remember all that much but since it happened on a tuesday i think that i was in Ms.Calvelli's class working away right at St.Bonaventure school. And i probably didn't really understand a lot about what was going on since i was only 5 years old but i do remember that it was a really big issue and that my parents never really stopped talking about it. But now i actually understand what happend and that 2,974 people died during the attack.
And that is what i know and what i did at that time when 9/11 happened.
